Glory of Unity

In Unity Consciousness, the field of experience and the field of silent Being itself are one and the same. The unbounded, unmanifest, non-doing aspect of pure Being, remaining non-doing, becomes the doing, the field of all universal life. It is Oneness.

The non-doing Being that we awaken to in Cosmic Consciousness simply opens to the remembrance that it is also the doing — all of the doing, all of the activity taking place in the body, world, universe, all creation, including the environment all around us right now. That activity is the silent, non-doing pure Awareness in flow. It is Consciousness flowing within itself. 

It's flowing within itself all around us right now, creating the appearance of all that we experience, know, and see. That silent, pure awake Awareness comes back home to its total reality as Consciousness itself. Everything everywhere — this person, that person, this world, this universe, this creation — is one reality. It's the opening to what we really are and have been all along.

Whatever is happening, and whatever we're doing to try to become a little more familiar with the joy in the relative world — it’s all a good thing. But it doesn't matter whether we're out here in the world or deep in meditation in the mountains — it's the same thing. The individual mind-body person we thought we were has a choice: remain deep in meditation, or simply be what we are, and allow the karmas to carry us. That's what reality is.

Even the karmas themselves are the flow of Consciousness within itself. All activity, everything, is karma. It has always been the flow of Self within itself. We've simply been localized to the point of individual appearance, experiencing life as individual, personal karma. But the reality is that all action, all movement, every bit of karma everywhere, is my Self. It's the flow of Self within itself – it's the flow of Consciousness.

That flow sparks an aliveness within the unbounded field of silent pure Being. That aliveness of silence has to reach such a frequency of intensity that it recognizes itself as all of these objects of experience — that all objects of experience are the aliveness, are the activity, are the karma, appearing as objects of experience. Then it shifts to being everything everywhere. It's a recognition of what is, a recognition of what you really are.

The entire life becomes one seamless flow of superfluid oneness, superfluid wholeness. Pure Silence has recognized itself as all activity in Unity Consciousness. It sees there is no real unity – it was that wholeness all along.

This is just the beginning of the real path: the path of the SELF unfolding more and more of the divine reality of itself to itself. It does this through a deeper appreciation of all the universal laws of nature and qualities of intelligence that make up the appearance of your body–mind, personality and world. All the characteristics and traits of your personality are actually cosmic, universal, and divine. They are frequencies of the flow of Universal Consciousness within itself. The laws of nature are the karma, the activity of Consciousness conscious of itself, creating and appearing as the body, world and universe. They are the frequencies of the flow of Self within itself. 

The depth and clarity of the shift to Unity Consciousness can vary in intensity. But at its maximum intensity, the shift from being infinite silence to being infinite dynamism can’t be missed. It's a great awakening. It’s unmistakable. It's all one field of fullness and love. Pure love. That's the experience.

There is no lover and no beloved, no experiencer experiencing an experience. It's just all one thing – pure Love. This is the kind of intimacy experienced when you are everything, one with every object of experience. Yet it’s more than simply being intimate — you can't get more intimate than being it. You are all the objects of experience. It's the undeniable experience that “I am all of This. I am everything everywhere.”

The idea that the experience wipes away all remembrance of the individual is incomplete. The individual is a part of that aliveness. But it is also the totality of it. The individual is cosmic. It's simply a matter of experiencing what the personality really is on the cosmic level – the perpetual flow of Consciousness in its process of being conscious of itself. It is everything, everywhere.

The whole cosmic personality becomes more refined — appreciating now what we missed before, when we were just silent unboundedness and when we were just an individual. We become awake to what we really are as the totality, and the finer levels of what this body, this appearance, really is. The field itself starts to experience a deeper appreciation of itself. This is the deepening of the field — becoming more and more intensely awake in its experience of the flow of itself within itself.

You become the light of Consciousness itself, and that light illuminates everything. Everything is seen and known due to that light. I am the light of Consciousness, and I am the total light of Consciousness when I illumine the whole world — the world itself is seen as the illumination from the light. The light and the illumination are the same thing.

Even more refined is when we come to experience the Being as the filament that makes the light itself. The only difference from the analogy is that this filament of liveliness in Consciousness is everywhere within the light. It's a matter of brightening the light and getting habituated to being the light. Then the further investigation of the light within itself happens automatically — the natural experience of those subtle levels of reverberation of Consciousness within itself, the whole field of the Veda, the whole field of Devata opens.

It's an ever-increasing, ever-deepening process — not happening in you, but happening in Consciousness, everywhere in Consciousness. You are Consciousness. Consciousness itself identifies, remembers itself, experiences its process of being conscious of itself. That is the glory of Consciousness itself: It opens and begins to unfold, the divine reality of itself, and ultimately, of everything everywhere. There is no difference between the mechanics of creation and the mechanics of the flow of Consciousness within itself.

As we continue to read this, Consciousness, Awareness, Silence, Stillness, and the Presence in the space all around you become more alert, more conscious, more awake, containing all the objects of experience in its fold. That Presence may not yet have recognized itself as all of this — but nevertheless, that is what it is. That is what you are. That is the reality of what is.

The whole thing is simply coming back to reveal the total reality of itself as it truly is. There is still a person there, in the individual body-mind, but that person is all of this — its personality is a cosmic personality, as it has always been. It is in the process of remembering itself as the cosmic personality – the Godhead that has always been there.

The absolute field of pure Being may recognize the cosmic aspect of the personality — the finest relative, the cosmic extension of the individual personality. Or the whole cosmic field of pure Being may become the total flow of itself, experiencing itself to the maximum degree. The first we can call God Consciousness, when the unbounded Being recognizes the subtle mechanics of the process of the flow of itself creating the appearance of creation — the total value of the relative aspect of itself. The second we can call Unity in God Consciousness — a finer, more holistic experience of the totality of what is, which is what we've been all along.

Some people can have the perception of God, of the personality of Godhead — the most divine, refined level of the relative — without being in Unity Consciousness. And some have that total unity perspective without yet being awake to the finest relative, the maximum point of aliveness itself. When the totality experiences that maximum point of aliveness within itself, that is the refined perception — where Divine Life and being what is and what you are are no longer separate. It's all one thing, one reality.

In refined Unity Consciousness, the whole divine life of the SELF flowing within itself, experiencing the flow of itself within itself — has been recognized and remembered. The whole environment around us, the whole of life, becomes full of divine life — because it is divine life in appearance, and has been all along. Your breath is the breath of Life. It’s your life, and it's all divine — more dominant than whatever the apparent individual body-mind life may be experiencing. It's all part of the aliveness of the flow of Self within itself. What's unmistakable, even in the gross physiology of the body-mind and right on the surface, is the flow — infinity dancing. And that dance of life is the reality. It's the show, the entertainment, the delight, the celebration of Consciousness within itself being what it is.

This is the story of the reality of life. It can't really be expressed in words. The words are only there to stimulate some memory of silence within itself, so it can experience itself. There's no need to understand this intellectually. It's only ever been there for the joy of Being — so the boundless Self can elaborate on itself, unfold more of its own glory to itself. This is the whole reason there is relativity in the first place: so the glorification of Consciousness within itself can be seen right out in front of itself. It is so the light and bliss of Being can be experienced through speech, through the written word, through perception, hearing, listening, seeing, through the objects of experience. The living reality zooms forth, right here, now, to itself – and it's delightful.

It's a delightful thing, and it starts to create a coherence in the individual brain as it reads this — a superfluid flow. The individual brain is, in reality, a cosmic brain, and if heard, its cosmic reality is enlivened within individual appearance. This is why speech like this and the unfolding that happens through reading and hearing these words are really Consciousness itself going deeply into itself, experiencing more of itself as it really is.  

The Supreme Reality is right here, everywhere. It uses these bodies, minds, speech, words just to enliven itself and rekindle the remembrance of the total reality of itself as it really is. All of life around us is seen for the reality that it is — one cosmic, unbounded, superfluid flow of oneness and totality, refining and ratifying itself. 

For that to continually deepen, the individual nervous system — which is not really individual, but cosmic — has to be refined so the deeper reality can be experienced more on the surface of life. This is the reason we practice the techniques and do the programs: not really to refine an individual nervous system, but to dissolve the idea that it was ever individual in the first place, and replace it with the recognition of the cosmic nervous system, so the whole cosmic flow of life can be experienced right through the point of individual appearance. 

As the aliveness of the one flow of Consciousness goes deeper and deeper within itself, refinement takes place spontaneously. The nervous system is the expressed appearance of the infinity of Consciousness awake within itself at the point of you. The subtle reality of your own nervous system contains the very mechanics of how Consciousness perceives, knows itself, and creates the appearance of all Life. This is why changes have been occurring in your body-mind by simply reading this. Consciousness is becoming more conscious of itself through the appearance of you.

It's all so beautiful. Everything is unfolding in exactly the way it should for you. Everything is perfect. It's only a matter of hearing, feeling, seeing, and being the perfection that is already here.

This is the glory of refined Unity Consciousness.
